"We have captured a pristine example of the new unidentified vessels that have been gathering on the periphery. Though sharing no discernible markings we have ruled them out of being of Rebel make or design - though advanced in their Automated Ship designs this example is unlike any that we have seen before nor within the understood capabilities of the Rebellion, Ministry, or our own Federation. We've had our Engi shipwrights take a look at this thing and they've been working 'round the clock analyzing this vessel since since we've captured it. It isn't a surprise that the Harmony has taken great interest in the design though I can't shake the feeling that the Engi dare I humor the thought is worried about this finding. Must've just been my imagination..."The AI Cruisers are a set of Cruisers inspired by Sleeper_Games AI Avatar race and vessels in their Hyperspace Anthology and games such as Hyperspace Dogfights, crossed with a bit of FTL modding history with my own take and creativity. With a range of weapons inspired from one, the other, or completely my own idea for what I feel fits the best with this race and faction that I have created in this add-on. The mod currently just the ships, weapons, drones, augments, crew, and achievements. Testing and Feedback is more than welcome in any form. And to anyone who has issues with errors - again, please check to see if you have hyperspace and vertex util up to date. The Hyperspace version that this mod uses is 1.8.0 or higher. You can check your version in game as the tiny white font at the upper right corner of your game.
Furthermore, people have been asking about the holo-emiters. This is something I do not know how to better broadcast without clutter for the player but it is an internalized augment on the 3 AI Cruisers (though in the future not the type C) that allows you to produce an AI Avatars for free at an empty beacon event equal to the sum of all AI holograms that have perished. If you had 3 deaths than you can produce up to 3 AI Avatars. Do note this isn't identical to the process of cloning as they will have a new skin, name, and stats unrelated to the AI Avatar that had perished. This can be advantageous sometimes in later sectors as they still follow vanilla rules on acquiring crew in late sectors granting them some levels in random skills. This augment also has a chance to be found in Engi and Zoltan sectors.

Hi,
Really awesome work with the mod! It's really well put together and I LOVE the hacking guns, however, I am rarely able to find one. Let alone the LVL3 variant. & I have never seen the chain one (I am assuming that's what it is).
I really like the option of installing artillery.
Maybe we can see some new ships with artillerys related to them, a sector/quests relative to the holograms?

P.S. the hologram renegade has game ended me several times. He's busted strong depending on his Loadout.

Great mod , bunch of unique mechanics and weapons however renegade version of it is too strong. Always have atleast 3 layers of shields , 3 fast high damaging drones , 2 pinpoints/beams , 1 ion weapon and all of that in S4 and how im supposed to kill that thing before it kills me? And the worst of all it happened multiple times ending lots of my good runs

I am very much glad to hear such lovely feedback. It does help me a lot to gauge what people think about my mod and what directions I may take my mod. The Effectors (Hacking Guns) are a lil sparse, currently things in this mod are more available in Engi, Zoltan, and Unexplored sectors (or well, if not yet then soon hopefully). I might just add them to the general pools for now much like how I added them to these sectors currently as a place holder but I am worried if people become complacent and unhappy when I remove them from there when the more permanent distribution. Unfortunately adding Artillery to every ship would be a massive undertaking, most do have the option to install them but lack a weapon. If I were to make every ship have their own weapon in MVanilla than it would be around I think 100-150 artillery I would have to make and balance. But you would be happy to hear that every mod I will make will always come with an artillery if capable and fitting them.

The idea behind the renegades was to use weapons from their universe. But currently so early in development this means there's a limited list of weapons which in turn means the renegade always spawns with a hefty degree of synergy and is always built to mess you up which is not intended and I had several attempts to 'nerf' it and slow it down but it is clearly still not enough. In the next version I will dilute its pool with several regular weapons and hopefully this would stop it from being a problem.

Unfortunately 2 things are at stake here for why it's so strong: - It has a limited list of weapons due to me wishing to keep it within a tech theme (having weapons from this mod only), this means it often times spawns with strong synergy.
- It has limited systems and thus with level scaling it can scale very rapidly.
I am sorry that it has ended your runs. Oddly for me I haven't even encountered it myself often naturally in a run so I never experienced it myself. I have a smaller update planned to come soon and there will be plans to change the renegade accordingly.

I am most certainly planning on engaging with the idea of adding events, quests, encounters, and even a sector related to the Holograms. I even have a track/ OS already finished for it! But events and even more so an entire sector will take time for me to implement and I have become the lead artist for Multiverse. So it saddens me to say but you shouldn't be expecting it too soon.

We appreciate the effort and care that has gone into this add-on already. I'm sure your brilliant skills as MV's lead artist will be well realised and appreciated there. Great work! If you don't ever get time for it again, this add-on as it stands is still worth people's time.
I did not mean for you to add artillery to every Mvanilla ship, I love content but damn lol. I just meant possibly, if you add more ships to this add-on, if THEY can come with artillery too. I really like the broadness it gives to the player. I.e. not being locked into a gunship run, but certainly being able to lean into it.
P.S. After I told you I couldn't find any hacking guns, I found 2 LVL 3's in one run lol.
I am a bit confused by the hacking immunity however, it says a system is immune for 3secs after, now I'm pretty sure I can count to three lol.. but, is the timer right?
