"RENEGADE! WE NEED TO COOK!"
A collection of small addons thatbreak adjust existing game mechanics to remove some restrictions or add fun mechanics. As the title suggests, these are not balanced for base MV at all, as the original design that these addons attempt to modify is meant to be the balanced state of MV.
Current list of addons that are compatible with 5.4.4: All of the below.
Unrestricted Equipment 1.3.1
This addon adds items to their relevant sector item pool where they were deemed too unbalanced or unfitting in base MV. Non-spoiler examples include Kernel Greenhouse, Lifejackets, Suzerain Pheromones, Hektar Virtual Store (yes, the virtual store can be bought from some stores that sell hektar products) and so on. Some augments may have tweaked stats to prevent making a special quest reward redundant, like Toxic Gas and Murder-Bots Dispersal. Two secret endings also had their sector item pools modified.
Additionally, it adds a new guaranteed store event in the second cubeland sector (if you know what I mean). Be prepared for a somewhat difficult fight for an epic payout.
There are some events that involve crossovers with some other addons, and all of them are in the special slug place.

Compatibility: Patch below Multiverse Hektar Collection if you want Cooldown Module's spawn rate to be standard, patch above said addon if you want Cooldown Module's spawn rate to be double that of other modules.
One of the events features items from TRC, Forgemaster, Forgotten Races, Forgotten Diamonds, and R&D. If you want the relevant equipment from those addons to show up in the event, patch Unrestricted Equipment below all of them.
Anything that changes the sector pool of relevant sectors may clash, let me know if there are any addons which do that so that I can make this compatible with them.
Unlocking Locked Augments
As the title suggests, this removes the lock from all augments, allowing you to sell them.

System Uncapper
Credits to Crusher48 for making this one, this sets the system cap for all ships to 12, allowing every ship to obtain every system (including temporal and one artillery).

Reactor Overcharger (Plus)
Credits to Crusher48 for making this one, this sets the max reactor for all ships to 30, up from 25 which was the default for most ships.
The Plus version instead sets the max reactor to 40. Probably more useful when addons or extremely unbalanced ships are involved.

Hidden Delivery Augments
This addon makes some delivery augments internal so that they don't consume your augment slots. Currently accounts for: Beacon Parts, Tully's Package, Mysterious Cargo

Compatibility: The events where these augments are consumed now remove a hidden augment, so if another addon gives you one of these externally it won't work. Might fix this in the future if it crops up too frequently.
More MV Traveler Beacons
This addon increases the overall number of renegades spawned throughout your runs. Best used for increasing the odds of finding renegade cruisers.
Non-nebula generic and unique sectors had their distribution increased from min-max of 1-1 to 1-2.
Nebula generic and unique sectors (including republican ones) had their renegade count increase from 0 to 1.
Secret sectors (excluding super secret ones that result in alternate endings) had their renegade count increase from 0 to 1.

Compatibility: This might work with addon sectors if those sectors already contain at least 1 possible renegade encounter and this is patched after them. C.U.R.A. Task Selector
This addon allows you to choose any of the 16 available C.U.R.A. tasks at will so you won't have to rely on RNG to find your favourite task.

Bigger Stores 1.3
This addon increases the amount of available categories in stores. Most stores now display 1 more row of weapons, drones, and augments, unless they already displayed 2 rows for a particular category. Ideal for players who have many addons active at once, which can cause store bloat. Also affects stores in secret endings.
As of version 1.1, the addon also affects Sylvan's trades and removes the item purchase limit from stores.
As of version 1.2, the addon also affects the TRC Collector's store and Forgemaster's stores

Transport Loot Selector
This addon enables you to select which loot weapon you want after crewkilling transports that feature multiple possible item drops. Also affects the transports in the secret cubeland ending... it may not be what you expect.
Affected factions: Engi Harmony, Zoltan Ministry, Floral Gathering, Vampweed Confederacy, Crystalline Empire, Mantis Hive, Lost Suns, cubeland factions.

Extra Crapbuckets 1.1
This addon adds two new purchase options at the mantis store event in Guild Territory, corresponding to the type B and C of the Wrecked Bombers. Purchasing the Suzerain ship gives 5 random drones, while purchasing the Bishop ship gives 5 random crew. The potential rewards are identical to the pool for the crapbuckets, anything that you could roll on type B and C of the wrecked bombers is fair game for the corresponding purchase in that event. Purchasing a wrecked ship from the mantis store will also unlock the corresponding wrecked bomber, this provides an alternate method for unlocking the ship if you don't want to do the original unlock condition for type B or C.

Renegade Cruiser Diamond Pass
This addon makes it so that the special loot of a renegade cruiser will always drop even on a hull kill. Additionally, it gives you a free reroute to a sector that is entirely full of renegade cruiser fights if you wish to hunt them down.

More Unique Sectors
These addons increase the amount of unique sectors that will spawn throughout a game. The degree to which the generation is affected varies between the three variants. Be warned, as the mini-bosses in unique sectors mostly do not scale by sector, so you may be fighting a boss in S2 that was intended for S4 depending on which addon you use.
S4-S7 Guaranteed: S4 and S5 are guaranteed "safe" unique sectors. S6 and S7 are 20% "safe" and 80% "dangerous" unique sectors.
All Sectors: S2-S4 are guaranteed "safe" unique sectors. S5-S7 are 15% "safe" and 85% "dangerous" unique sectors.
All Sectors, No Restrictions: S2-S7 can be any possible unique sector. Play at your own risk.

High Intensity Combat Augments
This addon adds a new bunch of power options to most combat augments, where you can invest more power and/or resources in return for a stronger effect. Augments like Targeting Jammer and Shield Jammer can impose stronger jamming effects, while auxiliary system disablers like Tracking Flares can impose longer jamming effects.
As a side effect of this addon, Disruption Field gains the ability to disrupt enemy Temporal systems.
Also affects the combat augment found in the secret cubeland sector.

Wither Tags Along 1.0.1
This addon makes Wither go with you on your travels when you awaken him instead of immediately sending you to the True Ending, so that you can have an extra crewmember and obelisk blue options. You can then reroute to TE anytime later by talking to him in the storage menu again.
Additionally, it re-enables the option for you to activate Wither in a forbidden place. If you know, you know.

Reroute Frenzy
This addon enables the player to chain reroutes before entering the last stand, as per 5.3 behaviour. It also enables the magic hat to be used right before entering the last stand!

Compatibility: Patch above Piracy is Poggers or basically any other addon that involves reroutes, since this will likely remove reroutes from addons if patched later.
Boons, Hats and Prep Options
This addon enables the player to pick up a boon, the magic hat, and a prep option. Currently in MV, players playing on casual/standard/challenge difficulties can only pick up a boon and either a magic hat or a prep option, while players playing on extreme difficulty can only pick up a boon or the magic hat. Extreme mode also has the option to pick up a prep option with this addon enabled, or you can simply forfeit the bonus to play extreme as intended (for the most part).

Compatibility: As far as I have tested, this should be compatible with Judge Boon Selector. Might be incompatible with any mod that significantly alters the start beacon.
Extra Hoedown
This addon adds a "reroute" option right before entering node 17 to interact with Dylan and trigger Hoedown again. Can be activated once per run, and requires you to have completed Hoedown naturally before.

Super Magic Hat 1.1
This addon enables the player to use the magic hat an unlimited amount of times between S1 to S7. It also allows the player to reroute to any generic sector and regular secret sector. Sectors that force you into an alternate ending (e.g. Obelisk) and mechanical sectors (e.g. Showdown) are not included.

More Hats
This addon adds 13 new hats that can be purchased from Hat Sylan's store, as well as a Jester hat that gives a random hat's effect for a cheaper price.

Chaotic Drive Hacker
These addons modify the Drive Hacker found at the Spectral Capital ruins to be capable of spawning Chaotic Renegade Cruisers instead of challenge difficulty ones.
There are three versions that each act differently from the others.
Standard: Functions identically to the Drive Hacker - 7 fuel to spawn a random renegade from a choice of 3.
Standard Deluxe: Allows you to spawn any renegade using 7 fuel instead of being restricted to a choice of 3. You still need to activate the mysterious beacon in order for the secret renegades to appear.
Chaos: Consumes anywhere from 1-3 fuel, 0-2 missiles, and 0-1 drone parts for each spawn. You can only choose a particular set of three renegades to target, and one of the three will be spawned, but you won't know which one until you meet them face to face...
Important Note: You should only patch one of these Chaotic Drive Hacker versions. They all modify the same events so patching multiple of them is not a very good idea.

Wither Tags Along 1.0.1
This addon makes Wither go with you on your travels when you awaken him instead of immediately sending you to the True Ending, so that you can have an extra crewmember and obelisk blue options. You can then reroute to TE anytime later by talking to him in the storage menu again.
Additionally, it re-enables the option for you to activate Wither in a forbidden place. If you know, you know.

Reroute Frenzy
This addon enables the player to chain reroutes before entering the last stand, as per 5.3 behaviour. It also enables the magic hat to be used right before entering the last stand!

Compatibility: Patch above Piracy is Poggers or basically any other addon that involves reroutes, since this will likely remove reroutes from addons if patched later.
Boons, Hats and Prep Options
This addon enables the player to pick up a boon, the magic hat, and a prep option. Currently in MV, players playing on casual/standard/challenge difficulties can only pick up a boon and either a magic hat or a prep option, while players playing on extreme difficulty can only pick up a boon or the magic hat. Extreme mode also has the option to pick up a prep option with this addon enabled, or you can simply forfeit the bonus to play extreme as intended (for the most part).

Compatibility: As far as I have tested, this should be compatible with Judge Boon Selector. Might be incompatible with any mod that significantly alters the start beacon.
Extra Hoedown
This addon adds a "reroute" option right before entering node 17 to interact with Dylan and trigger Hoedown again. Can be activated once per run, and requires you to have completed Hoedown naturally before.

Super Magic Hat 1.1
This addon enables the player to use the magic hat an unlimited amount of times between S1 to S7. It also allows the player to reroute to any generic sector and regular secret sector. Sectors that force you into an alternate ending (e.g. Obelisk) and mechanical sectors (e.g. Showdown) are not included.

Compatibility: If you want maximum brokenness, patch this after Reroute Frenzy to continue using the magic hat beyond S7. Very likely incompatible with any addon that modifies the magic hat reroute events.
More Hats
This addon adds 13 new hats that can be purchased from Hat Sylan's store, as well as a Jester hat that gives a random hat's effect for a cheaper price.

Chaotic Drive Hacker
These addons modify the Drive Hacker found at the Spectral Capital ruins to be capable of spawning Chaotic Renegade Cruisers instead of challenge difficulty ones.
There are three versions that each act differently from the others.
Standard: Functions identically to the Drive Hacker - 7 fuel to spawn a random renegade from a choice of 3.
Standard Deluxe: Allows you to spawn any renegade using 7 fuel instead of being restricted to a choice of 3. You still need to activate the mysterious beacon in order for the secret renegades to appear.
Chaos: Consumes anywhere from 1-3 fuel, 0-2 missiles, and 0-1 drone parts for each spawn. You can only choose a particular set of three renegades to target, and one of the three will be spawned, but you won't know which one until you meet them face to face...
Important Note: You should only patch one of these Chaotic Drive Hacker versions. They all modify the same events so patching multiple of them is not a very good idea.
