FTL: Fishier Than Light is the most innovative mod ever made for FTL. Fishier than light, or FTL Fishing to be short is rather simple in concept, it adds fishing to FTL, however it is incredibly complex in implementation. FTL Fishing adds almost 60 fish, 3 ships, 4 harpoons, a few augments, and a ton of fun, enjoy.If you find any bugs or exploits, please create an issue detailing what happened here or create a forum reply under this post.

Amazing addon but seems like i found few bugs. First fishing vessel augment seems to reduce scrap gains by a whooping 30% (atleast according to IC, though maybe i just dont understand how ftl works, which is probably the case), second harpoon instantly gets charged to full during combat if it was used in previous beacon(also cant be fired after that, have to depower it for a second). Also what is considered old junk by augment? Is it just scrap or something else? Anyways thanks for addon and i will go and enjoy fishing during boss fights!

really cool mod for such a joke-y idea. one thing I would suggest though if it's possible to implement is to have some way of tracking the upgrades you've already got from eating fish. inferno core's ship stats screen can track the changes to hull resist, weapon charge etc. but the changes to crew currently aren't tracked anywhere (that I'm aware of, at least) and while it's easy to tell how much extra health crew have, it's trickier to remember how much damage/repair speed bonus they have.

another thing I've noticed is that in the 'stats' page, the achievements for the unique fish tell you where you might find them while they're locked, but once you've unlocked that achievement it doesn't tell you anymore? for some fish like the energy fish it's fairly obvious where you find them but I have no idea if the anerobic fish can be found in lanius sectors or ghost sectors or both.

cool mod but why do the harpoons hang out way behind your ship when they're depowered? idk if it's different on other ships but I was playing with the Slug C.

Great mod! It makes the game totally different. I recalled the first game of my life Breath of fire. Please add hundreds more fish!
Now the game goes like: Rebel: Commander, the info you carry is of great importance, make sure they don’t fall into the wrong hand. Me: yeah yeah of course. I will die trying to protect it. But first let’s see what fish I can catch in this area!

Too many times my first mate reported that firepower of enemy ship is too strong and some cabins are on fire. Can’t you take care of it yourself? Cause I’m struggling to keep pace with my fish. Then ship blows up.
Suggestion: each kind of fish can have different variant like weapons. And more fish please. What should be swimming in space or giant gas planet. I think ocean fish, flying fish, sand fish, mountain fish, hiking fish all make sense.

Shockingly fun mod. Only real issue I've had is with the Sylfin. I eat it and get a crew member, but I'm not sure what the 'beacon' bit means. Is it supposed to create a store, or give me an augment like the merchant/hektar beacons, or something else? If it's either of the first two it isn't working, and if it's something else then I'm not sure where I'm supposed to be looking for it.
EDIT: just realized I wasn't using the most recent version, hopefully that will clear things up. EDIT again: nope.
