Shockingly fun mod. Only real issue I've had is with the Sylfin. I eat it and get a crew member, but I'm not sure what the 'beacon' bit means. Is it supposed to create a store, or give me an augment like the merchant/hektar beacons, or something else? If it's either of the first two it isn't working, and if it's something else then I'm not sure where I'm supposed to be looking for it.
EDIT: just realized I wasn't using the most recent version, hopefully that will clear things up. EDIT again: nope.
It gives you the option to summon the fish merchant at an empty beacon.

Fun mod, but please add upgrades to fishing efficacy; it takes a long time to catch even a basic fish, and even if you have a good grasp of the mechanics a legendary fish can be impossible to catch due to rng; upgrades such as reeling speed, preventing bar loss, and even making the box bigger would be much appreciated and make it more fun and worthwhile to invest in, if just for time's sake.

There are some more internal fishing upgrades to help you in the most recent update

The leech fish seems not function as described. I consumed one and my leech does not teleport. Please make it right.

you might want to consider removing the doors system from the fishing station. their crew seem to run around the station semi-randomly for some reason and they occasionally man the doors system, meaning your crew has to break down doors to get around which seems a little rude.

(v1.1.0) harpoon mk3, on the lanius C, is in a weird position (a lot to the left) when in the weapon is in slot 3 or 4, unpowered

hey so the shorefish (?) that makes your crew unable to repair but makes systems autorepair also seems to make your crew unable to put out fires which is a little inconvenient. presumably also makes them unable to repair breaches (idk, I had slug repair gel), which would render your ship unable to get rid of breaches unless you've got a repair drone or breach sealant. also systems can't autorepair with breaches which I presume affects the fishy autorepair too, which I feel like could cause some issues.

Was playing the game, fished the Shorefish that says your crew can't repair anymore but your systems auto-repair. Though my crew indeed cannot repair, the upgrade doesn't work. To my credit I played a full sector without my ship getting damaged before noticing the fact that all my systems received damage permanently. I am looking to check if perhaps that comes from some conflict with other mods. I don't thinks so however but I am still checking.

So, Indeed Izzyzzie is correct, It's the breach that makes it unrepairable. - Makes sense somehow. So without breach sealant and extinguishers it is quite dangerous to install.

Harmony Fish, (Drone Damage and Health +50%) Does not work. Tried it on both boarding and defense drone.

The grouper is WAY too powerful; Base multiverse, best you can get is +32% weapon speed iirc with the two performance upgrades and the pre-igniter from the gatling gun quest chain, and in the other mod that adds weapon charge speed, Forgemaster, you can get a +50% weapon speed increase after spending hundreds of scrap on the internal hull and setting your weapons system of fire, making fast-firing weapons inevitably destroy your weapons system even with no o2 with the constant fire. 110% is INSANE, essentially winning you the game immediately, and the minus is essentially negligible because it is negated with the full shield upgrade and even with two groupers, 50% shield recharge speed doesn't matter when you fire all your weapons 3.5x as fast as intended. I suggest its numbers be heavily toned down, possibly alongside the Black Cobia, whilst making its shield recharge bonus genuinely worth considering depending on your build. Make Black Cobia a +10% (a free weapon performance upgrade is still really good for something that can be gotten for free or 10/20 scrap) and make the grouper, as a legendary, 2x a rare fish but with a downside for the one you don't pick. Say +20% weapon speed and a -25% shield recharge or a +50% shield recharge with -10% Weapon Charge speed.

Also, Fishing can be essentially infinite scrap, especially with the artillery harpoons, as whenever you have a full cargo and gain an item, it instantly turns into 25 scrap INCLUDING your scrap bonuses, which alongside the golden bream can even make fishing at 40 scrap profitable if you got lucky, and at minimum making fishing at 20 scrap profitable at every sector. I don't know how you'd solve this though; could you make it so you can't fish with a full cargo? Can you make it so junk doesn't get turned into scrap if it overflows the cargo?
